The Dream Shifted—But the Fire Stayed the Same

My Passion for Helping People Never Changed…Even When Everything Else Did

I never set out to be a coach. Or a yoga instructor. Or a burnout recovery guide.

Honestly, I didn’t even imagine the version of my life I’m living now. What I did know—even as an adolescent was this: I wanted to help people come back to life. That was my fire.

It was there when I became a therapist.
It was there when I worked with people navigating trauma.
It was there when I sat with first responders who carried too much pain.
It was there when I worked at the hospital and came home more exhausted than human.
And it’s here now—burning brighter than ever—as I help people walk through burnout and come back to themselves.

The Roles Changed. The Fire Didn’t.

We’re taught to find the one path. The one job. The one “dream.” And once we choose, we’re expected to stick to it. But the truth is, dreams evolve, passions shape-shift, and the most courageous thing you can do is listen when the whisper inside says: “This isn’t it anymore.”

I’ve had many roles—therapist, coach, yoga instructor, trauma specialist, business mentor. But underneath every title was the same heartbeat: Helping people rise.

Rise out of confusion. Rise out of shame. Rise out of burnout. Rise into their strength, their energy, their truth. And with every role I’ve held, my understanding of how we heal has deepened.

My Body Always Knew Before My Mind Caught Up

I’ve always been someone who needed to move. Even when my brain told me to sit still and overthink, my body craved motion. Expression. Breath. Flow. I was a gymnast and a runner growing up. I love movement; it is where I feel at home.

It wasn’t until I started learning more about burnout and trauma that I realized:

Our bodies don’t just store our pain—they carry our healing, too.

I started integrating what worked for me: yoga, breathwork, somatic awareness, tapping, meditation, and Internal Family Systems. The more I used them with my clients, the more I saw it: healing was happening. Not just intellectually, but in their bones.

Burnout doesn’t live in your calendar. It lives in your nervous system. And recovery isn’t just mental. It’s embodied.

This Is My Passion. This Is My Fire.

This is why I do what I do, because I know what it feels like to be successful on paper and hollow inside, to be “the strong one” while quietly falling apart, and to crave a different life, but feel terrified of letting go of what’s no longer working.

I help people move from numb to alive. From “I don’t know what I want anymore” to “I feel like myself again.” And from “I guess this is just how it is” to “I know what I’m creating.”

If you’ve been feeling lost, drained, uncertain—maybe this is the part where you realize…

Your dream can shift.
Your fire can stay.

So Let Me Ask You...

What’s your through-line? What’s the one thing you’ve always returned to, even when everything else changed? You don’t have to have all the answers to start again. You just have to follow the fire. It’s not random; it’s your guide, and it’s waiting for you to trust it.
